Kate and Dan's Wedding

We’re coming down to the wire here, just 17 days remaining. So much is going on, and there’s still stuff left to do! Crazy, huh? Much has been accomplished today, with much more to go.

Today I have: ordered additional cufflinks for the dads, picked up nine rolls of double-sided tape for the centerpieces, and made our donation to Home for Life.

Tonight, I will be hitting Things Remembered for groomsmens’ gifts, Target for an assortment of things, and Home Depot for copies of our keys. I also need to figure out gifts for my mom and my dad/stepmom, finish the program design, and start cropping the photos we’ll be using with our centerpieces. And order Kate’s wedding gift from me.

Kate’s got her own list of to-dos that I can’t recall, but I know we’re both hauling ass to get this all finished. We’re very much looking forward to the day when we lean back, sigh, and unwind a little bit. That may not happen until we see you all on the 5th, but then again, we might get lucky and get done with all of this early.

Twenty-seven.

So yeah, it’s coming up fast and we’re coming down to the wire! Guests are RSVPing, a tuxedo has been located, a dress fitted, and a bridal shower thrown. It’s 7:30 a.m., and Kate’s off at her bachelorette party. I’m up early because I want to get some laundry going and I’ve got framebuilding today.

We’re both looking forward to seeing all of you at the ceremony and reception! If you have questions for either of us that aren’t answered on this site, please feel free to give either one of us a call.

We have our wedding bands now after a trip to Shane Co on Monday night.

Also, we have another block of rooms at the Sheraton, and another at the Radisson. I’ll get the contact info from Kate and get that on the site either tonight or tomorrow.

Tomorrow: tuxedo.

Haven’t updated this in forever, but guess what? We totally registered yesterday — Macy’s and Target. Links to the registries are provided on the registry page.

Finalizing our invites and ordering those this week, too. Or at least that’s the plan.

So we’ve been plugging away at the wedding prep. I’ve got Kate an account on here now, so you can expect to see more information trickling in here shortly. The save-the-dates are finally going out today — I think. I also need to either fix this theme so that the dropdown menus work, or whip up a new theme. Probably the latter, actually.

The countdown continues, and I am very excited about it.

What can I say? She makes my life whole, and I’m madly in love with her.

Greetings! So the wedding is getting closer and closer and Kate and I have decided to get our website up and running. This will be where you can find information about things like dates/times, locations, and other assorted stuff. I’ve set up an account for Kate on here, and we’re both going to be updating this on a regular basis.
