The Groom
Dan is the child of nomadic parents and is mostly a Minnesotan. He works as an e-marketing consultant for a local Fortune 100 company.
How We Met
We met on Match.com in late 2007. After a few weeks of back-and-forth emails, we met at the Herkimer for beers on a Monday night after work. It was a very good date, and things went well from there.
The Proposal
Dan popped the question in March of 2009. We were in the middle of a game of Scrabble, and Dan spelled out “MARRYME” down the side of the board.
How Dan proposed. Kate not only accepted, but gave him the points.
